  1.  Stir a few threads (about ¼ teaspoon) saffron into boiling water when making pasta or risotto.

  2. Add a few threads to the yoghurt or the fruit salad will give a good colour and impressive flavour.

  3. Add to the rice dishes, sweets, vegetables, and curries for colour and flavour.
